Dahr, Yvonne Mary – Age 63, of Hilden and formerly of Upper Musquodoboit passed away February 17, 2022 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Born in River Bourgeois, she was a daughter of the late George and Ethel (Landry) Bowser.
Yvonne was full of life and enjoyed darts, cards, bingo, fishing, dancing and meeting people. She loved her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, particularly her great nephew, Dexter.
Yvonne will always be missed by her husband, Gerald; sisters, Anne (Ronald) Delorey, Joan (Melvin) MacLeod; brother, Leo (Sheila) Bowser; step-daughters, Janet (Matthew) Miller, Florence Dahr, Stephanie (Daryl) Cull; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by sisters, Marie Delorey, Rita Grant; brother, Blair Bowser in infancy; great-grandson, Kyle.
Cremation has taken place.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery, Upper Musquodoboit.
Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
Many thanks to the staff of Colchester Hospital for the wonderful care Yvonne received.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
