Yvonne Breau
1924-2022
Yvonne Breau, 97, of Bouctouche Bay, passed away peacefully,
surrounded by her family at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital,
Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, on Sunday March 6, 2022. She was married to the
late Jacob (Jake) Breau. Born in Bouctouche Bay, she was the daughter
of the late David and the late Beatrice (Maillet) Allain.
She was a member of the Bouctouche Golden Age Club.
She will be sadly missed by her three daughters; Yvette Maillet
(André) of Saint-Thomas-de-Kent, Diane Poirier (Jimmy) of
Bouctouche Bay, Annette Arsenault (Alvin) of Richiboucto-Village,
three sons; Yvon (Odette), David (Diane), Bertin, all of Bouctouche
Bay, twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She also
leaves to mourn one brother, Alcide (Normande) of Bouctouche, one
sister-in-law, Dorice (late Adelard) and several nieces and
nephews.
Yvonne was predeceased by one son, Alcide (2000), four sisters; Marie,
Irène, Lydia (late Edouard), Marie-Anne (late Fred)) and three
brothers; Arsène, Albert and Adelard.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche, on Friday March 11, 2022 from 1:00 to
3:45 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste
Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche, on Friday March 11, 2022 at
4:00pm.
FACE MASK REQUIRED AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND THE CHURCH TO COMPLY WITH
PUBLIC HEALTH GUIDELINES.
In Yvonne’s memory a donation can be made to the Paroisse
Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Bouctouche.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
