Obituary of Yvan Joseph Gaudias Begin
Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his wonderful family, Yvan Joseph Gaudias Bégin enjoyed a final social libation before he slipped away from us. Yvan brought so much joy to this world, it makes it hard to say goodbye but the countless memories, stories and family gatherings will fill our hearts until the end of time.
Yvan is survived by his best friend Wendy. Dear father of Yancy (1982), Darcy (Adele) and their children Quenton and Jocelyn, Melissa Hasen (Mike) and their children Austin, Karlie and Lexie and Chantelle Stelwagen (Jack) and their children Jacob and Cameren.
Also survived by his stepchildren, Sharie St. Denis and her children Michael, Kayla, Kristen and Brandon, Terri Pye (Nathan) and their children Alex and Taylor.
Yvan was the fourth of fourteen Bégin children and survived by Gaston (Louise), Priscilla (Gerry), Yvon (Marleine), Gregoire (Wendy) Renald (Marie), Louiselle (Bill), Christine (Phil), Nina (Ed), Lynne (John). Also survived by sisters in law Alice and Julie.
Predeceased by his brother Charlie (1986), Russell (2008) and sister Margo (2009) and his parents Wilbrod and Germaine Bégin.
He worked at Ford Talbotville for many years with his brothers and the many friends he made. The community of Rodney loved Yvan and will always remember him.
A celebration of life in Yvan’s honour will take place in the warmer weather.
If desired, memorial contributions to Four Counties Health Services, Palliative unit would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy.
