TILMA, Ytsen ‘Ike’
After a life lived with strength, kindness and strong values, Ike Tilma passed away at the age of 92 on December 22, 2022. Ike will forever be cherished by his beloved wife Jane, of 66 years and his children Lynda King (Gregg) and Don Tilma (Karen Downey). His determination, energy and joyous nature have helped shape the lives of his grandchildren Kevin King (Becky), Sarah King (Kingsley Fondong), Steven Tilma and Katelyn Tilma. And until his final days he still delighted in playing with his great-grandchildren Oliver, Lily and Charlie King and Leo and Ava Fondong who lovingly called him Opa. He will be missed by his friends, neighbours and extended family.
A celebration of his life, including a reception, will be held on January 7th 2023 at 1:30pm at Cephas Christian Reformed Church, 220 Goodfellow Rd, Peterborough. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Church, who he and Jane are charter members, will be greatly appreciated by the family.
