Winston’s Obituary
Winston Morton Churchill Langille- 81, Tatamagouche and formerly of Malagash Point, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Born in the family home in Malagash Point, he was the youngest of nine boys, a son of the late Arthur M. and Hattie V. (Jamieson) Langille.
Winston worked at many jobs including farm hand, custom sign painter and caretaker of the Blue Sea Beach Provincial Park. Winston loved to hunt with his older brothers and always enjoyed playing baseball, following the Blue Jays and playing cards. He stayed close to home to help care for his parents, right up until their passing.
Winston is the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He survived by his sister-in-law, Betty; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Winston was predeceased by brothers, Oman (Agnes), Douglas (Mabel), Charles (Helen), Almon (Lola), Burton, Sherman as well as two brothers in infancy.
A Private Interment will take place in the South Shore Cemetery, Malagash at a later date. Memorial Donations may be made to the Malagash United Church or to a charity of one’s choice.
