It is with immense sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of a beautiful soul, William Weiss at the age of 33. Will was a beloved husband, father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many who share in this incomprehensible loss.
Will was predeceased by his parents Tim and Brenda, grandparents Jim Weiss, and Annie and George Harper. Will is survived and forever loved and deeply missed by his partner Morgan, son Timothy, daughter Mariah, step-daughter Taesha, his grandmother ‘mom’ Diane, his sisters Jessie, Emily, brother Patrick, Aunties Lisa, Stacey, Rose and Delores; Uncles Neil, Bob and Ricky and numerous cousins. A special ‘thank you’ to cousin Michael who went above and beyond the day of and these difficult days since Will’s passing.
Will was born and raised in Winnipeg. He attended various schools and was a graduate of Neeginan Institute of Applied Technology where he became certified as a Building Operation Technician. Will really enjoyed his employment and the friendships he made at Quantum Utilities. Those who knew Will, knew him as strong, courageous, fiercely protective, and kind hearted soul. He had a soft spot for the underdog and would always stand up for others. Will had a beautiful smile that could light up a room; and he had a great sense of humor which he shared liberally. Will was so grateful for his many friends and family, and we thank you all so much for your kindness and condolences during this extremely difficult time.
A Celebration of Life to honour Will will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave in Winnipeg, MB. Although not required, the family is asking if guests would kindly consider wearing a mask.
