William “John” Randell
March 2, 1952 – January 28, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Randell of Burgeo, NL announce his sudden passing at his home on Friday, January 28, 2022 at the age of 69 years. Left to mourn with many loving memories are his wife of 49 years Ethel, his sons Sheldon (Roxanne), Corey (Angela), Jamie (Candy); his four grandchildren ,who he adored and loved to spoil; Mason, Rio, Jeremy and Sailor; his sister Kim (Glenn) and his special niece Kerri (Grant) that spent much of her childhood with uncle John. John also leaves to mourn brothers-in-law Dave (Melita), Ray, Bruce (Cynthia); sisters-in-law Linda (Clayton) and June (Maxwell), a large circle of special nieces, nephews, family and friends. John leaves behind biological sisters and brothers, Sidney, Eugene, Gordon, Joan, Elsie, Louise and Gladys along with their families. John leaves behind his poker buddies, his Manrock friends and many coworkers who he shared many a good time and laugh with. John was predeceased by his parents Jeremiah and Myrtle, biological parents Isaac and Rosie Pollard, parents-in-law Ronald and Louise Foote, biological sisters Annie and Betty; sister-in-law Bev; nephews Vaughan, Danny and Wade, as well as other relatives and friends. John will be forever remembered for his love of telling a good story, making people laugh, helping people out and just being an all-around good person. He was happy go lucky and it showed wherever he went and whoever he was with.
Forever In Our Hearts
John’s celebration of life will take place at the Faith United at a date to be determined. Due to Covid regulations the service will be for family and invitation only.
