Retiring just before his 80th birthday. It was his greatest joy to provide for his family and he was very proud of his accomplishments. He also had much pleasure in taking vacations with his family and enjoyed his many grandchildren.
Our father was a very loving generous man. He loved life and one of his favorite sayings was “If you’re not Dutch you’re not much” jokingly.
He loved the Lord with all his heart and did his best to walk uprightly before Him and looked to Him for guidance especially in the later years of his life.
We love you Pap, and miss you already. We are comforted knowing you are resting in the Secret place of the Most High!
Many thanks to staff at Chinook Intercare Calgary for taking such good care of our father. The family will be planning a private service.
