William Robin Brazel 2022

Obituary for
William Robin Brazel
1952 – 2022
On the sunny afternoon of February 6, 2022, the Brazel family said goodbye to their beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Robin Brazel.
Robin, age 69 years, was the fourth child of six born to Ray and Mary Brazel and raised on the family farm outside of Mayerthorpe. He married, then raised his family in Edmonton, and in 2019 moved back to the Mayerthorpe area. Robin’s Brazel genetics ensured his stubborn nature was tempered by his great sense of humour, love of telling jokes and stories, and his deep and abiding love of family.
The following will carry his memory, his loving wife of 46 years, Barb; children, Simone (Steve) Haywood, Tyler (Chantelle), and Elyse; grandchildren, Cedric, Meredith and Autumn; brothers and sister, Lee (Linda), Elsie (John) Riopka, Jack (Maureen), Chuck (Connie), Tony (Kathie) and their families; mother in law, Pauline Luniw; the Luniw and Dmitroca families; the Campbell and Golden cousins and many life-long friends all of whom Robin frequently enjoyed reminiscing.
The family expresses their special thanks to the Pembina Lodge (Evansburg) staff for the care and compassion shown to Robin.
A Celebration of Robin’s Life will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 1:00pm at Park Court Hall, Township Road 550 at Range Road 73 in Yellowhead County.
In lieu of flowers or donations, Robin’s passion for gardening and playing social games would be best honoured by your either planting a tree or flower, and if you don’t have a green thumb, gather your family and friends around a board game or deck of cards to enjoy a game of Schmier, Golf or Crib in Robin’s name.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of William Robin
