Obituary
Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Ken was raised in Toronto, Ontario by parents Margaret and Clifford Rea alongside his sister Lorna (deceased).
He moved to Calgary in 1960 working various jobs. Ken met Marlene in 1964, and they married in April 1965 happily spending the next 57 years together. Ken and Marlene had one son, Clifford, who was their idol and a great inspiration to both of them.
Over the many years, Ken had friends locally and far away which meant a lot to him. Ken loved a good joke and always had a good one to tell. He loved camping, fishing, curling, and riding his favorite horse Fiber as a member of the Steele Scouts for many years. He also loved traveling far and near. He especially enjoyed his trip to Europe.
Ken was a member of the 264 Kensington Legion and a volunteer when needed, and also belonged to the Springbank Heritage Club. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews and truly dear friends.
