William John Bill Stevens 1953 2022

William John “Bill” Stevens –
68, Millbrook, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Colchester
East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in West Stewarts Town, New
Hampshire, USA, he was a son of the late John Sr. “Jackie
Boy” and Theresa (Bouthellier) Stevens.
Bill loved music, and when he was younger, he played guitar.
He worked in the woods cutting pulpwood with his brother, John, in
Vermont. He loved riding his motorcycle and the Sunday day trips he
took in Vermont. He was a weight lifter since he was really young and
continued that into adulthood. He will be missed by all who knew
him.
Bill is survived by his siblings, John Stevens, Jr., Laura
Goodwin, Mary Stevens, Jacquelyn Stevens (Orad), James Stevens
(Patti), Leroy Stevens; nine nieces; ten nephews. Along with his
parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Jean Croteau; nephews,
Robert Croteau, Joseph Duprey, Gary Goodwin; niece, Amanda Stevens;
special friend, Evelyn Gloade.
Visitation will be held from 12-8 p.m., Thursday, February
10, 2022, at Millbrook Community Hall, 72 Church Road, Millbrook.
Covid-19 protocols will be followed and those attending must provide
proof of double vaccination and wear a mask at all times. Interment
will be held at a later date in Sacred Heart Cemetery. If so desired,
donations in Bill’s memory to Heart and Stroke Foundation
are welcomed.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall –
Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Private messages of
