WILILAM “BILL” IRWIN EPPLE JR.
The family wishes to announce the passing of William Irwin Epple of Tillsonburg on Saturday January 22, 2022 at his home. Survived by his wife Mary and sons Thomas (Lori), Timothy and daughter Kimberley as well as his siblings Barbara (Jake), Edwin (Sally), Marlaine (Roland) and Mike (Pat). Bill was a proud grandfather to Melissa (James), Brendon (Alexis) and 2 great grandchildren. Bill is also survived his sister-in-law Rita and by many nieces and nephews . Predeceased by his parents William and Eliza and siblings Freida, Albert and Bruce. Bill worked for over 30 years at Livingston Industries and operated Country Brewmasters for 20 years. For many years Bill and Mary enjoyed boating, fishing, camping and visiting friends. Members of St. Paul’s United Church, Bill and Mary met many friends there. Family and friends will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg on Wednesday January 26th, 2022 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. All guests are required to register for visitation at www.ostrandersfuneralhome.com or by calling the Funeral Home. Masks are mandatory and social distancing will be required. Please do not attend if you have been ill or are under isolation. The Funeral Service for Bill will be private but will be livestreamed via link on the funeral home website starting Thursday January 27th, 2022 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at St. Luke’s Cemetery in Vienna. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and may be done online or by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home (519) 842-5221 who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
