In Loving Memory of William (Bill) H. Robinson
May 28, 1945 – August 28, 2022
passed away peacefully at Highland Wood LTC, Haliburton with his family by his side.
Loving husband and best friend to Autumn and Popa to Hailey Anderson. Bill leaves behind his sister Jean Kennedy (Bob-deceased) and Margaret Alexander (Jim-deceased). Loving brother-in-law to Jim (Bernie) Davis, John (Debi) Davis, Lonnie Davis, Lockie (Denise) Davis, Wendy (Mike) Iles and Judy Davis. He is sadly missed by his 17 nieces and nephews and 26 great nieces and nephews.
Bill immigrated to Canada in 1954 from Carluke, Scotland and grew up in Toronto, being a member of the Scout’s from an early age led him to his love of Minden. Bill started his career in banking which led to an inspector for Scotia Bank travelling to 52 countries and later moved into management. Bill was a sports therapist with the Young Nationals Hockey League, he was involved with the Scarborough Drum and Bugle Core and a member of the Masonic Lodge in both Huntsville and Minden.
As per Bill’s wishes a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
Memorial Donations to the Haliburton Pet Owners Assistance Fund, Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation (HHHSF) or the Charity of you choice would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged through the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., P.O. Box 427, Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0.
