William Geoffrey ‘Bill’ King 2022

Peacefully on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Golden Plough Lodge, Cobourg, in his 79th year. Beloved husband of 55 years of Daphne (nee Barnes). Loving father of Brian (Julie) and Helen (Ron Rusk). Cherished grandfather of Emma, William and Josh (Emilie) Fallis. Great-grandfather of Kohen and Rorie Fallis. Bill will be sadly missed by his sister Susan and his cousin Jane Bailey (Fred Hildebrandt), and his many friends.
Born in Oxfordshire and raised in Penzance, Cornwall, England. Longtime resident of Cobourg and formerly of Bolton, ON. Entrepreneur. Past president of Bolton and Port Hope Rotary Clubs. Parkinson’s Superwalk Star Fundraiser. Member of the St. Peter’s Anglican Church Community. Avid car, train and boat enthusiast and brass band fan. His family would like to thank everyone for their loving care, encouragement and support over the last few years.
A memorial service will be held in the MacCoubrey Funeral Home chapel on Friday, November 25, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. followed by a reception. Visitation from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. (Please wear a touch of Ferrari red if you choose.) A private interment will take place in the Heritage Cemetery of St. Peter later. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson.ca, St. Peter’s Anglican Church or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.
