William
“Bill” Strugnell, 78, of The Grass Home Riverview and
formerly of Lakewood Dr., Moncton, passed away peacefully at The
Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Born in
Moncton, he was the son of the late Arthur and Georgina (Ricker)
Strugnell.
Bill was an educator for over
30 years in Greater Moncton having retired as Director of Education
with School District #2. He enjoyed socializing with his
friends and spending cherished time with his family, especially with
his grandchildren.
Bill will be sadly missed by
his sons, Stephen (Carol), Scott (Judy) and Gregory (Tanya);
grandchildren, Andrew, Neil, Laura, Megan, Jennifer, Courtney, Michael
and Sydney; brother, Richard; as well as several nieces, nephews and
extended family members. In addition to his parents, Bill
was predeceased by his wife, Marlene Ann Strugnell (Sept. 2020) and
one brother, John.
Family interment will be held
at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Bill’s
arrangements have been entrusted into the professional care of
Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton
(858-1995).
In memory of Bill, donations to
the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation (heartandstroke.ca) or
the Alzheimer Society of South East New Brunswick (alzheimer.ca/nb/en) would
be appreciated by the family.
