William Fredrick Cox
Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on Sunday, December 11th, 2022 in his 74th year.
Predeceased by his wife, Linda Cox (nee Yetman) of 49 years; brothers: Douglas and Sidney; sisters: Lorraine and Geraldine and other relatives.
Leaving to mourn his daughters: Suzette (Tom) Grandy and Jo-Ann (Steve) Gullage; three precious grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Karlee and Travis. Also leaving to mourn other relatives and friends.
Bill was 38-year employee of Hoyles-Escasoni Complex where he worked as a licensed practical nurse and a physio therapy assistant. He was also involved in many fund raisers in CBS area and a 30 plus year member of the Society of United Fisherman as a master in Cabot Lodge #41 S.U.F for 27 plus years and held other positions as supreme Grand Lodge Chaplin and assistant secretary Supreme Grand Lodge. Past master of District Grand Lodge of Avalon. Also involved in open mic and the Wednesday Jam at the S.U.F Lodge.
Special thank you to many close friends who visited and brought food and offered support through his journey. Thank you to Dr. Brien for his many years of care and compassion. Special thank you to Dr. Rourke and the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, physicians and staff of the Health Science Centre Emergency.
