William Donald Willie Lynds 1938 2022

William Donald “Willie”
Lynds – 83, Onslow Mountain,
passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, March 23, 2022, at
Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Onslow Mountain,
he was the eldest son of the late Lockhart and Ruth (Crowe)
Lynds.
William worked as a foreman for Town of Truro at landscaping
and at Colchester Legion Stadium.
William is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Jean
(Frizzell); daughter, Heather (Sean) Neufeld; sisters, Dorothy Graham
(Noah Perry), Helen Weatherby (Charles Martin); brother, Freeman
(Kelly) Lynds; sister-in-law, Joyce (Aubrey) Lynds; brother-in-law,
Leander Staples; many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother,
Aubrey Lynds; sisters, Anne Staples, Ellen (Nellie) Roode;
brothers-in-law, Gerald Graham, David Fisher, Ben Weatherby, Arnold
Roode.
Graveside service and interment will be held at a later date
at West Branch Cemetery, North River. If so desired, donations in
William’s memory to a charity of choice are
welcomed.
