Obituary of William “Bill” Lambkin
Bill passed away peacefully at home in East Linton, with his wife by his side, on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022. Born May 4th, 1950 in Owen Sound, Ontario, William Bradley Lambkin was in his 72nd year. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Karen Lambkin (nee Bowers) for 48 years. Loving father of Kristen Weber, of Hanover and very proud grandfather of Emily Weber. Dear brother of Gayle Elder (Doug), of East Linton. Loved uncle of Rob Elder (Tracy) of Ottawa and Greg Elder (Lori) of London and cherished great-uncle of Brady, Reese, Grayson, Lochlan, Cohen and Maren. Brother-in-law of Lynn Bowers of Calgary, Alberta and Cedric Bowers (Wendy) of Red Deer, Alberta. Predeceased by his son Bradley Lambkin, his parents, William and Dorreen Lambkin and his parents-in-law, George and Ardene Bowers.
A visitation for Bill Lambkin will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th Street West, Owen Sound Monday, May 2nd from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, May 3rd at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Don Forest officiating. A private family only interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery will take place following the service. All other guests are invited to remain at the funeral home’s reception room for tea and coffee while awaiting the return of the family from the cemetery for a time of fellowship and refreshments.
If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Chapman House Hospice, the Canadian Cancer Society specifically targeted to Pancreatic Cancer or the Local Meals on Wheels.
