BILL MEINEN
On Thursday, July 7, 2022 the Lord called Bill Meinen, 70, of Exeter to his eternal reward.
Beloved husband of Darlene Meinen. Dear father of William (Suzanne) Meinen, Tania (Jeff) VanderHeide, Ryan (Melinda) Meinen, Shaun (Michelle) Meinen and the late Jared Meinen (2009). Loving grandfather of Noah, Anneka, Asher, Elyse, Barak and Judah; Jordan, Tamara, Brooke and Apryl; Owen, Liam, Wyatt, Felicity and Violet; Emery, Grayson and Abigail. Also surviving are his step-sons Timothy (Ashley) Ferguson and their family Brayden, Gavin and Addison, and Michael (Brittany) Ferguson and their family Tyler, Ryan and Payton. Dear brother of Frances Van Eyk, Margaret Otten (Martinus), Alice Van Pelt (Arend) and Grace Benjamins. Dear brother-in-law of Renee Meinen, Jake De Vries, Hugh (Barbara) Munro and Paul (Sherri) Munro.
Predeceased by his parents Berend and Annichje Meinen, brothers John, Henk (Betty) and Stoffer, sisters Ann De Vries and Willy in infancy and brothers-in-law Everett Benjamins and Arie Van Eyk.
Bill was a tender hearted, kind, gentle spirit who loved God and his family. There is no greater peace than knowing he is with his Lord and Saviour.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Monday, July 11, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Bethel Free Reformed Church, Mitchell on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Bethel Munro Cemetery.
