William Bill Koharchuk 2022

William (Bill) Koharchuk passed away peacefully on July 12, 2022 at Hogarth Riverview Manor in his 93rd year. Bill was born in Fort William on January 22nd, 1929 and lived all his life in Thunder Bay. Bill married the love of his life, Mable, in 1955 and they spent 66 happy years together. Bill and Mable had many happy family memories at their camp on Moonlight Beach. They also enjoyed travelling and watching their grandchildren and great-grandchildren play sports especially hockey. Bill worked as a grain inspector at Saskatchewan Wheat Pool for over 40 years, retiring in 1989. Bill was predeceased by his mother Josephine and father Michael, sister Agnes & other family members. Bill was a kind and caring man and he will be sadly missed by his family. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Mable, daughters Kathleen (Joseph) Drcar, Jo-Anne (Thomas) Armstrong, Sharon (Alastair) Ryder-Turner, grandchildren Kevin (Rhonda), Kerri-Anne (Lloyd), David (Lyndsy), Kaitlyn, Andrew, Tyler (Alyssa) and great-grandchildren Kade, Paetyn, Kaelyn and Teagyn. Bill had a special place in his heart for dogs especially Sonny. A private family memorial service will be held on Monday, July 18rh. The family would like to thank the caring staff on 7S at Hogarth Riverview Manor. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Humane Society or dog rescue of your choice.
