Obituary
The family of the late William (Bill) Gerald Andrews would like to thank those who sent condolences, food, and donations; it was very much appreciated. Also, another thank you to the doctors and nurses on 4A at WMRH and the Palliative Care Unit who looked after Bill with such kindness and care during his time of need. Another special thank you to Dr. Coleman and Dr. McKenzie; your compassion and generiosty will never be forgotten.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late William (Bill) Gerald Andrews announce his peaceful passing at Western Long Term, Palliative Care Unit, on Thursday, November 4th, 2021 at the age of 73 years. Leaving to mourn with fond memories, his loving wife, Joan (nee Scott) of 50 years; two precious daughters, Sherry Bhutia (Pema) and Jennifer (Scott Mercer); two precious grandsons, Luke and Andrew; Brother, Doug; Aunt, Ruth Klevorick; Cousin, Gerlad Elliot (Irene Grandy); Friend, Jim Fost (Jen); special niece, Lori Wellman, who helped during Bill’s sickness; Sisters-in-law, Margaret Rowe (Austin), Tilly Young (Gill); Brother-in-law, Bill Scott (Florence); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Margarite Andrews; his Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Adelaide and Arch Scott. As per Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time, to be announced at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, there are no flowers by request; A memorial donation may be made in Bill’s memory, to Western Long Term, Palliative Care Unit. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you, to 4A, Western Memorial Regional Hospital, as well as the angels at Western Long Term, Palliative Care Unit.
