William Bill Davidson February 5th 1947 June 19th 2022

This June 19th, 2022, William (Bill) Davidson took his final breath, surrounded by his loved ones. The sun rose and welcomed Bill on February 5th, 1947, a day the world became a little brighter. Bill lived a full and warm life, filled with joy, family, and adventure. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Louise, two children (Tamara and Katie), four grandchildren (Liam, Lyra, Jack and William) and countless friends. He loved his career teaching secondary school at St. Clair, Northern and S.C.I.T.S. in Sarnia, Ontario. Bill had a deep devotion to education. The countless students he impacted and guided throughout his career stand as a lasting legacy to his commitment and enthusiasm for teaching. He spent his retirement being an active member of RTO (Retired Teachers of Ontario) and a volunteer executive member for North Lambton Community Health Centre. He enjoyed his gardens, geography, history, conspiracy theories, and so much more. He would do anything for his friends and loved fiercely. He made everyone who knew him laugh as they shared in all of his long stories. Our family is grateful to know that Bill is finally at peace.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at 12:00 p.m., with family and friends being received one hour prior to the service. The family kindly asks that you please wear a mask. In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Hospice would be appreciated.
