William Banks Thursday November 24th 2022

William Kenneth Banks (Bill), 71, peacefully passed away after a 19 month battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family on November 24, 2022 at Campbell House Hospice in Collingwood, Ontario. He was born June 5, 1951 in Shelburne, Ontario, Canada
He was the beloved husband of Loula (nee Pappas).
Survived by daughter Michelle Laws (Dan), daughter Jennifer Banks, stepson Michael Kroustallis (Brandy) and stepdaughter Patricia Kroustallis.
Will be missed by grandchildren Shawn Banks-Stanton (Amber), Victoria Banks, Hunter Banks, Makenna Gillmore, Gabriel Gillmore, Zavier Kroustallis, Zaylia Kroustallis, Nico Drummond and Mara Drummond.
Hero to great grandchildren Kai Banks-Stanton and Ella Banks-Stanton.
His family will remember him as a dedicated military Captain yet very loving when no one was watching. After many years of service and several attempts at retirement he finally found he was happy just riding his motorcycle and Spyder, travelling and camping. Enjoyed being a Snowbird to Florida and tried to never miss a Maple Leafs hockey game and later Blue Jays. He also enjoyed golf and flea markets.
Celebration of life will be held at a later date in the Spring 2023. Details to be advised.
