CUNNINGHAM, Willa Rae (RUSSELL)
Passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Willa Rae Cunningham, in her 86th year, was the loved wife of sixty-one years to John Cameron Cunningham, much loved mother to Peter (Karen), Paul and Tim. Adored and devoted Nannie of Leslie-Ann (Danielle). Dear sister of Grace Ann Fidler (Lynwood) of Chipman, New Brunswick and Peter Russell (Murlyne) of Guelph. Loved sister-in-law of Sharon Cunningham (late Jim), Geraldine Cunningham (late Bill), Eileen Cunningham (late Gilbert), Olive Sartor (Guido) and Lorraine Holmwood (late Tom) of Calgary. Fondly remembered and loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Willa grew up in Minto, New Brunswick and was the loved daughter of the late Willard and Mildred Russell, and loved sister of the late Judy McLean (late Bill) of King City, Ontario. She was an adored sister-in-law of the late Catherine and Bill Turner, the late Marion and Mike Mahoney, the late Muriel and Albert Bedrosian, all of Guelph and the late Jean and Sam DeHaan of Kitchener.
Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph. Visitation on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 2 p.m. Masks are preferred. Burial at Farnham Cemetery, Puslinch will take place at a later date. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Knox (Guelph) Presbyterian Church, to the Guelph Humane Society or to a charity of choice.
