Obituary of Wilhelm Unger
UNGER: Wilhelm –
A resident of Blenheim, Wilhelm Unger passed away at the Erie Shores Hospice Residential Home in Leamington with his family at his side on Friday, January 28, 2022 at the age of 57.
Born in Chihuahua, Mexico, Wilhelm Unger was the son of the late Wilhelm and Helena (Wiebe) Unger.
Beloved husband of 35 years to Helena (Guenther).
Loving father and grandfather to Franz Unger (Kiah); Helen Unger (Peter), and children Andrew, Jesse and Timothy; Eva Unger and children Adam, Evelyn and Seth; Naomi Reimer (David) and children Katherine and Marcel; and Rebekah Unger.
Dear brother to Peter Unger (Katherina), Margaret Knelsen (Abraham), Jacob Unger (Margaret), Johan Unger, Anna Wall (Peter), Cornelius Unger (Maria), Abraham Unger (Katherina), Bernard Unger (Elizabeth) and Isaac Unger (Lisa).
Predeceased by his eldest brother Jacob and baby sister Helena.
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Wilhelm has requested that no photos be taken at the visitation.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 5:00 – 9:00pm. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario have mandated that all attendees wear a mask. Those planning to attend are asked to register online at ( signup.com/go/zoUaJQv ) or by phoning the Funeral Home.
A Private Family Service will be held with an interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
Donations made in memory of Wilhelm to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
