WHITE Douglas Charles “Dougie 2022

WHITE, Douglas Charles “Dougie”
November 12, 1945 – April 15, 2022
It is with great sadness we mourn the passing of Douglas Charles White on Friday, April 15, 2022, in Calgary, Alberta, at the age of 76.
Dougie served in the SAS Army in England. His family was very special to him and he loved his wife of 58 years, and adored his daughter and grandchildren with all his heart. He always loved to dress up as Santa to make the kids smile as he wanted to make every Christmas magical. He loved to tell jokes. He was a friend to all, and he would help out anyone at anytime. Dougie also loved his volunteer work with schools, PTA, Charities, and Home Treasures. He especially loved his volunteer work at the Aero Museum which awarded him the Calgary White Hat Award.
Douglas is survived by his wife, Marie White; daughter, Lisa (Scott) Whynott; grandchildren, Katie (Quinn), and Emily (Aleah) Jones.
If desired, Memorial Donations may be made to the Cochrane Humane Society (62 Griffin Industrial Point, Cochrane, AB T4C 0A3) www.cochranehumane.ca – The family respectfully asks that no flowers be delivered.
