Obituary of Wendy Lynn Waumsley
WAUMSLEY, Wendy Lynn (nee Emsley) of Port Dover, passed away at Stedman Hospice, surrounded by the love of her family, on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 in her 67th year. Beloved wife of Mike. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Nathan Emsley of Brantford, Darryl Waumsley of Calgary, Michelle and Ryan O’Grady of Illinois and Jen and Andrew Livingstone of Port Dover. Loving Nanna of Aaron, Madelyn, Everett, Blaire and Samuel. Dearly loved daughter of Beatrice, sister and sister-in-law of Dan Emsley and Joyce Voortman of Brantford and Kathy and Garry Sauve of Brantford. Predeceased by her father Douglas. Wendy had a green thumb and enjoyed growing tropical plants. She loved watching Sci-fi movies and visiting the casino with friends. Friends are invited to meet with the family to share their memories of Wendy on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm at Thompson Waters Funeral Home, 102 First Ave., Port Dover 519-583-1530. If you wish to attend visitation please call the funeral home to reserve a time. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
