Obituary of Welsford Gordon Munro
Munro, Welsford Gordon, 86 of Meisners Section, Lunenburg County, passed away August 16, 2022 in Harbour View Haven, Lunenburg. Born in Lake Munro, he was a son of the late Lawrence G. and Clara C. (Ellis) Munro. Welsford had many jobs during his working years such as truck driver, rural mail delivery and 14 years at Michelin Tire in Bridgewater. Through the years he loved many and was comforted by many family pets which he will be reunited with. He is survived by his wife, the former Vivian Frost; son, Kevin at home; daughter, Karen (John) Cunningham of Dartmouth; grandsons, James (Taylor Brown) and Daniel (Bethanee Diamond); great granddaughter, Madison Brown; sister, Myrna (Harold) Pearce of Ontario; sisters-in law, Evelyn (Don) Hayden and Ethel Green; brother-in-law, Barry Frost. He was predeceased by sisters, June Whitman and an infant sister Beverly; brothers, Alton and Lawrence; sisters-in-law, Sylvia Nuell, Marjorie Munro and Janice Dondale; brothers-in-law, Jim Frost, Bob Green, George Nuell, George Dondale and Kirk Whitman. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. at the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 2022 from the Springfield Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Moore officiating. The family could like to thank the staff of Harbour View Haven for their kindness and care of Welsford. It was greatly appreciated.
