Peacefully at Hospice Prince Edward Steven “Stevie” Welbanks
after a courageous battle with cancer and surrounded by the love of his family entered into rest
on Thursday, October 13th, 2022
In his 68th year.
Predeceased by his parents Carmen Welbanks and Jean Sharp and his brother James Welbanks.
He Leaves behind his son Steven “Brodie” Welbanks and daughter in-law Violet Gaylord, wife Jan Welbanks,
sister Linda and husband John Flegg, brother Harry Welbanks as well as nieces, nephews
and the many friends he made throughout his life time.
Steve lived Life to the fullest and always did things his own way,
gaining the respect and admiration of everyone in his life.
He was known for his talents as a builder, renovator and woodworker,
a talent which he very proudly passed on to his son.
The Family would like to give a very special “Thank You” to the friends and healthcare workers
who helped Steve stay home as long as he was able.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Prince Edward would be appreciated by the family.
