WEAGLE – Borden Richard “Buddy”, 87, of Liverpool, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022, in Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.
Buddy was a son of the late Harvey and Annie Rae (Balcom) Weagle.
Buddy’s passion was listening to country music, especially Hank Snow and gospel music. He spent many hours watching baseball games on TV. His favorite team was the Boston Red Sox. Buddy was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Mersey Branch #038 of Liverpool for many years and loved going to variety shows. Buddy was a wonderful friend to everyone and will be surely missed by all.
Buddy is survived by his sisters Margaret Woodsworth of Napean, ON and Patsy Foley of Milton, N.S; brothers “Buster” Fred (Linda) Balcom of Ottawa, ON and Larry (Joan) of Milton, N.S.
Besides his parents, Buddy was predeceased by brother Robert “Bob”.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. At Buddy’s request there will be no service. No flowers by request, donations may be made to a charity of choice. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com
