Obituary
Wayne Wright Church, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2022. He was a loving husband to Patricia (Vincent) who died in 2012. Together they raised a family in Severn Bridge. His sons, Mark (Carol), Michael (Beverley) and Matthew (Melissa) will miss him greatly. He will be remembered always as “Buppa”, by his grandchildren – Joseph (Melissa), Emily and Robin.
Throughout his life, Wayne was inspired by so much. From nature, to playing hockey with the Amazin’ Grays well into his 40’s, to building and sculpting in his studio, he was always passionate. As an artist, he was a founder and part of the Autumn Tour for many years. Wayne enjoyed stories – the written word, the visual and spoken. Music was continuously playing in the background wherever he was.
Wayne had a contagious smile and was always ready to listen. He was a dedicated birdwatcher, who always kept the feeders full, and a bin of peanuts for the chipmunks.
A memorial will be held in the spring. His family would appreciate any memorial contributions be made to the Audubon Society of Canada.
