The death of Wayne Robert Pyne of Chipman, NB occurred at his home on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. Wayne was born in St. John, NB on August 8, 1954 the son of the late Avis and Robert Pyne.
He is survived by his step-daughter Lori-Ann (Roger); his sisters Ellen, Darlene and Cathy, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Wayne was an avid hunter, fisherman, musician, photographer and hunting guide. He enjoyed the Bronson road trips with his co-piolet Wendy Whalen and his daily crib tournaments with Garth Michael. He was also an avid Legion visitor, where his chair was well worn and the Alpine was always cold. He loved to play 63 with Mark LeBlanc and show off his smile.
In early years Wayne operated a budding photography business for four years and was a guide for bear hunting. He was an avid harmonica and guitar player and he loved to travel and the many years of watching his granddaughter Joelle grow up around him.
He is predeceased by his parents Avis and Robert; two brothers, Ellis and Jimmy; two sisters, Wanda and Darlene.
As per his wishes, he will rest with his parents at the United Baptist Cemetery. A celebration of his life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #74 on April 23, 2022 from 2-6 pm.
