Wayne MacLean 2022

Wayne MacLean, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Friday, December 16, 2022, at the age of 73.
Born in Miramichi, he was the son of the late Fred and Annie (Graham) MacLean. Prior to his retirement, he was a labourer at Burchill Mill.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Vicky McLean; his children Stacey Jeffries (Justin) of Spruce Grove, Alberta and Scott Wayne MacLean of Ontario; grandchildren Jaxson, Madden, Bailley (Quinn Donovan) and Cody (Julie Savoie); seven brothers Fred D. (Doris) of Newcastle, Ronnie (Judy) of Nelson, Reggie (Lois) of Nelson, Ralph (Theresa) of Ontario, Bobby (Linda) of Chatham Head, David (Theresa) of Newcastle, and Paul of Newcastle; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of 2 west, KRT & Associates, and Extra Mural Miramichi who went above and beyond to provide compassionate care.
In keeping with Wayne’s wishes, cremation will take place at Northumberland Crematorium. Interment will take place in St Patrick’s Cemetery at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the colon cancer society of Canada.
