Obituary
It is with much sadness and heavy hearts that we announce on behalf of the family the death of Wayne Frederick Kenney “Gunner” of Centerville on Thursday April 7, 2022 at the Upper River Valley Hospital.
Wayne was born in Woodstock on May 13, 1949 to the late Frederick and Iola (Rattray) Kenney.
Wayne was a lifetime truck driver; he drove truck for many years for many different people. He also was a salmon fisherman and he loved to spend time on the water fishing.
His newest life passion was his two great grandchildren Kayde and Genesis.
Wayne is survived by his wife Sandra (Comeau) Kenney, Sons Michael and Steven Kenney, Daughters Cindy Cormier and Patricia Hanson, Grandchildren, Jessica Sparks, Destiny Hanson, Emily Hanson, Stacey Hood, Faith Cormier, Abby Cormier, Dominick Thebeau, Great Grandchildren Kayde Sparks and Genesis Sparks. He is also survived by his siblings Judy Manuel, Pam Shaw, Kimberly Graham, Lori Smart and Kevin Kenney.
Besides his parents, Wayne was also predeceased by his brother Lloyd Kenney.
By request there will not be any public visitation or Funeral Service.
If so desired, the family has requested donations in Wayne’s memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Carleton Funeral Home and Crematorium, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville NB.
