Wayne Clifford Grant
1941 – 2022
Peacefully at the West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville on Sunday June 19, 2022. Husband of Darlene Grant. Dear father of Stephen Grant (Nancy), Mark Grant (Sue), and predeceased by his daughter Shari Lyn Grant (Aug. 2017). Proud grandfather of Joshua Grant, Dylan Grant, Harley Grant, Myles Grant, and Richard Sicurella Grant. Loved great grandfather of Cashius Grant Powell. Brother of Edward (Ricky) Grant (Zagorka), Philip Grant (Christine), and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Valerie, and Nicole. Remembered by sisters Colleen, April, and extended family The Lariviers. Wayne was a musician in the early years playing with local bands in Hamilton area, a scuba diver with Submariners, and involved in Judo. He was very active in hockey, coaching the Hamilton Huskies and Dunnville Terriers. Wayne was a retired employee of Stelco Canada Works and Lake Erie Works with 32 years of service. At Wayne’s request there will be no funeral service or visitation. Cremation has taken place. Thanks to Dr. Drijber, Dr. Seulis, and the nurses of the CBI for their care.
