When the day comes to say a final goodbye to a loved family member that is about to leave this earth….we can never be prepared, for that final last minute.
Today we are so heartbroken to share our sorrow, in saying Wayne has received his wings, and is flying high now with the Angels, and is with his father, Patrick and his so much loved brother, Pat.
For anyone that knew Wayne, he loved life…..he loved motorcycles, boats, and the beautiful waters in East Bay. He also loved tractors, excavators, and landscaping, and was a very skilled operator with large trucks & equipment.
His family was so important to him. He grew up in Howie Centre with his four brothers and two sisters.
He was well-known in Howie Center as one of the crew.
Wayne will be so much remembered for his kindness, willingness to help anyone, and most of all his humor. He had a natural ability to make everyone smile, was always up to badness to give everyone a laugh – and we all have very special memories of that.
He will never be forgotten…because he will live on in the hearts of all of us.
Wayne was predeceased by his father, Patrick in 2002 and his brother, Pat in 2018.
Wayne is survived by and will be missed and never forgotten by so many. His mother, Catherine Sullivan; his partner, Mona; brothers, Robert, BC, Tim (Lisa), Ben Eoin and Jimmy (Lisa), BC; his sisters, Rose (Wes), BC and Phyllis, BC; and daughter, Brittany Remple (Blake), BC.
The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the ICU Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for the amazing care they gave to Wayne during his final days with us.
Wayne has been cremated and there will be a Celebration of His Life on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Sydney Memorial Chapel, 49 Welton Street.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, or a further charity of your choice.
Fly High Wayne, until we meet again. xoxox
