Passed away peacefully on Monday August 8, 2022, at the West Parry Sound Health Centre, at the age of 77. Everyone knew Wayne as “Mr. Chips.” He was an iconic figure in the Town of Parry Sound selling French fries for 35 plus years. If you knew Wayne, he always had a story to tell along with his infectious laugh. He will be missed by his children; Jim (Dawn), Ivan (Diane), Connie Dobson (Al), and Teresa Acton (Bill) along with his eight grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Violet Cox of Ingersoll, his sister Carol and great grandson Maverick. Cremation services entrusted to Torrance Funeral Home & Chapel Limited (89 Bowes St. Parry Sound). If desired, donations to the “Diabetes Canada or The Friends of Parry Sound Day Program” would be appreciated by the family.
