It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the death of Wayne Boucher of Bathurst which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at the age of 73.
He was the son of the late Irving and Gertrude (Young) Boucher.
He is survived by his wife Bernadette (Doiron) Boucher of Bathurst, one son, Patrick (Lia Auria) of Edson, Alberta and one daughter, Monique Boucher (Jeremiah Coutts) of Saskatchewan.
He was the proud grandfather to six grandchildren: Nicholas, Danielle, Brighton, Eden, Sage and Naddon. He loved them all dearly.
He is also survived by one brother, Donald Boucher (Suzanne L’Heureux) and a cousin whom he considered a brother, Clifford (Geralda Bertin) Boucher.
Wayne was a former employee of Employment and Immigration Canada and Fisheries Canada and NB Liquor Corporation. He also worked at a few other places, including a few years as an auxiliary RCMP.
There will be no visitation or funeral service.
Donations in memory of Wayne can be made to a charity of your choice.
