Wanita Dawn Briggs
1936-2022
The family of Wanita Dawn Briggs is sad to announce her
passing on April 28, 2022 at Orchard View Long Term Care Home,
Gagetown, New Brunswick. Born on June 8, 1936, she was the daughter of
the late Charles and Velma (Hawkins) Sowers and wife of the late
Gordon Banks and the late Waldon Briggs.
“Nita” will be missed by her sons, Greg (Susan),
Geoff (Alanna), Darren (Isabelle), and Shawn (Stacey); grandsons
Benjamin, Alexander, and Lukas; siblings Glenwood, Diana, Joyce,
Shirley Anne, and Jackie, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and
friends.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was predeceased
by her brothers, Ronnie and Gerald.
A celebration of Wanita’s life will take place
