Obituary
Our world became less bright, less beautiful, on August 6, 2022, with the passing of Wanda Watson, beloved, adored and admired Wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend & daughter.
Although she is no longer here with us, she will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of those who loved her.
Wanda lost her short battle with cancer at Queen Victoria Hospital, Revelstoke at the age of 72 years. Her family will be holding a celebration of Wanda’s life in the spring and will announce a date when arrangements have been finalized.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trees for Tots Revelstoke Society, P.O. Box 752, Revelstoke, B.C. V0E 2S0 or to the B.C. Cancer Foundation, 399 Royal Avenue, Kelowna, B.C. V1Y 5L3 (designated towards Breast Cancer), in memory of Wanda.
Wanda was born in Spalding, Saskatchewan on December 3, 1949, and had been a resident of Revelstoke since 1975. Wanda loved her family fiercely; they were always her first priority. She loved her friends, gardening and playing words with friends. Wanda especially loved baking with her granddaughter Azaria.
Wanda was predeceased by her father Gerhard and two grandsons: Shawn in 2000 and Kaleb in 2001. She is survived by her husband Warren; two children: Tamara (Glen) Karras and Jeffrey (Tamara) Adderley; four grandchildren: Azaria, Allison, Justin and Ryan; her mother Phyllis Scholz; her sister Starla (Derrill) Rayner as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
