1967-2022
The death of Walter Reinahrd Heinz-Georg Rotthus (Sasse) of Somerville
occurred on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at his home with his family at
his side. Walter was born May 23, 1967 in Bochum, Germany and was the
son of the late Herbert and Marga Sasse.
In 2008 Walter and Jessica moved to Carleton County from Germany and
fulfilled his dream of traveling through North America by truck.
Walter was a former member of the NB Antique Auto Club, he enjoyed
working and tinkering with cars and spending time with friends. Walter
stood up for his beliefs, he was a warrior and fighter for the people
that were dear to him.
Walter is survived by his loving wife, Jessica; chosen mother,
Charlene Schriver (Ron); chosen sister, Alecta McClary (David) and
chosen brother, Mario Schroeter.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207
Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from
2-4 pm. Memorial donations in Walter’s memory made to Harvest House
would be appreciated.
