Walter Henry Kollman, age 87, of Stratford passed away peacefully at Rotary Hospice on December 27, 2022.
He is survived by his wife Gloria (Lichty). Children Jerry (Linda), Linda Huitema (Dave), Shane (Michelle); sister Marjorie Angel; stepchildren Jim Bender (Tammy), Michael Bender (Erin); grandchildren Asha (Chris), Zarek (Kailyn), Alisha (Kevin), Stephanie (Derek), Katie (Jordan), Kyle (Erin), Matthew (Amber); Step grandchildren Alyssa, Chantel and Melanie; 9 great grandchildren; Nieces Cindy (Rick), Sandy (Ted). Remembered by Delphine and Leonard Schwartzentruber, Elaine Lichty, Katherine Lichty and their families.
Walter is predeceased by his father Harold Kollman, mother Katie (Yost) Kollman, step mother Mary (Jacobs) and brothers-in-law Edward (Ted) Angel, Glen and Keith Lichty.
Visitation will be held at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Friday, December 30, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will take place at the Reformed Mennonite Church, 1993 Perth Line 43, Perth East on Saturday, December 31, at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
