BERRY, Walter “Junior”
June 9, 1930 – November 23, 2022
Passed away at Golden Birches Terrace in his 93rd year. He is reunited with his wife Dorothy (nee Robertson). Predeceased by his parents Walter Sr. and Lily as well as siblings Bailey, Audrey and Marge. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours in the Iron Bridge and surrounding areas.
Walter was a well respected, self-employed, general contractor for many years. In the early years, he volunteered for minor hockey and was a member of the Iron Bridge Snowmobile Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Walter had a big heart and was quick to help family, friends and neighbours. He was well liked by all.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Golden Birches Terrace for their kindness and compassion.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Beggs Funeral Home, 175 Main Street, Thessalon on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 between 11am and 1pm with funeral service to follow. Interment at Bellingham Cemetery. Brian Mundell officiating.
