Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital in his 88th year. Walter joins his beloved wife Mary (2016) and leaves behind his children Sandra (David) Bill (Denise) and Bryon (Nicole).
Loving grandfather to Holly (Erick), Jay, Aislinn, Savannah, Emerson, Maysin, Lydia, and Cedric. Predeceased by James. Great-grandfather to Ethan, MacKenzie and Owen. Brother to Bill. Predeceased by sister Ruth and brothers Wilbert and Archie. He will be missed by his family, as well as many relatives and friends.
Walter will be remembered for his love of spending time with his family at his beloved house on Old York Road, as well as his passion for trains, books, and rooting for the Blue Jays, Tiger-Cats, and Blackhawks. Walter provided for his family through his 40 years as a dedicated electrician at Stelco.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday October 28, 2022 from 2-3 p.m. at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown, with a Funeral Service to follow at 3 p.m.
