Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Walter Gilbert White announce his passing on April 27th, 2022 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit, at the age of 85 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Gilbert (Tracy), and Dennis; grandchildren: Victoria (Andrew) and Tracy; sisters: Emma Park, Alice (Llewelyn) Park, and Ellise (Kevin) Hynes; brother, William (Evelyn) White; and sister-in-law, Judy White; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends, and family. Walter is predeceased by his companion, Sylvia Park; parents, William and Deborah White; brothers: Willy, George (Edit) White, and Charles White; sisters: Ivy, Genevieve (Leo), Adeline (Patrick), and Lucy (Art); sister-in-law, Rosealetta White; and brother-in-law, Roy Park. At Walters request cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service at this time. Services and interment to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Diabetes Canada in Walter’s memory.
