It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Walter Turner on Monday, April 18th, 2022, in his 79th year. Son of the late Walter and Margaret Turner. Predeceased by his wife Joyce (nee Grills). Father of the late Richard, survived by Tammy, Melissa and Melanie. Brother of the late James, Frances, Barbara and Sydney. Survived by sisters Lea and Janet. Walter leaves behind his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his devoted four-legged companions Laddie and Chico. A Funeral Service for Walter will be held at McConnell Funeral Home – Tweed, 137 Colborne Street, Tweed, ON (613-478-3535) on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Monday. If desired memorial donation the Quinte Humane Society (quintehumanesociety.com or 613-968-4673) would be apricated by the family.
