It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Walter Clarke of Marystown announces his passing, surrounded by his loving family, at his residence in Marystown on Tuesday, August 09th, 2022 at the age of 74.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife of 52 years Alene; daughter Tawny Isaacs (Derek), Terra Nova, and son, Jay (Holly), Creston North; 4 grandchildren, Faith Isaacs (Logan), Carson Isaacs, Jacob Clarke and Rebecka Clarke; special brother Sam, Marystown, brother Harvey (Betty), Marystown, sister Judy Hotton (Bruce), Lewins Cove, brother Austin (Rose), Marystown, sister Ruby Crocker (Calvin), Ottawa, ON, brother Merrill (Audrey), Marystown, brother in law Harvey Mitchell, Marystown, and sisters in law Florence Paul (Fred), ON, and Margaret Mitchell, Burin Bay; plus a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Walter was predeceased by his parents Stephen and Rebecca Clarke, brothers Melvin and Leslie and sister Greta.
The Clarke Family will be accepting visitors at Peninsula Funeral Home in Creston South on Thursday, August 11, from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm and Friday, August 12, from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm.
Funeral Service will take place at St. Michael’s Anglican Church in Creston South on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Creston South, NL
In Walter’s memory, donations can be made to the family, for future donations to Walter’s favorite charities.
