Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wallace George Burt, age 87 years, of Virgin Arm, NL. He went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 14, 2022 at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander, NL.
He is predeceased by his parents Arthur & Susie, sisters Ida Burt, Kathleen (Doyle) Burt, Maxine Ings, Elsie (David0 Rice, brothers Bill, Daxter and Mervin.
Wallace was a great man and will be forever missed by his loving wife Bernice, children Arthur (Annette), Alvin (Ruth), Leo (Ruth), Cedric (Marthia), Mary (Sherman), Deloris (Robert), Sandra (Raymond) a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers & sisters and a large circle of extended family and friends.
Resting at New World Island Funeral Home, Summerford, NL with public visitation on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, Carter’s Cove, NL at 2;00 p.m. with Pastor J. Oxford officiating.
Donations in Wallace’s memory may be given to the Pentecostal Cemetery Fund, Virgin Arm, NL.
Wallace’s family would like to give thanks to the staff and management of the Oram’s Bethesda Manor as well as all the medical staff that helped care for him at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander, NL.
