HOWARD, W. Christopher Steven –
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Chris in his 63rd year after a courageous battle against Leukaemia.
Chris was the cherished husband of Bev for 31 years, special Dad to Jodie (JP Worley) of Tecumseh and Barb (Matt McNabb) of St. Thomas, Super Bubs to Jacob of Guelph, Cameron of Tecumseh and Jaden of St.Thomas.
Chris was born in Chatham to Don and Muriel Howard (both deceased), and special friend Evie Reeve of Chatham (deceased). Chris leaves behind his favourite (and only) sister Sue Young, brother-in-law Bob and nieces Allison and Kelly. Also, brother-in-law Robert Beer and Hanz and niece Sarah (Lee Brittles). Best friend to spoiled puppy Cooper.
After graduating from The University of Waterloo with an Honours Batchelor of Mathematics, Chris went on to obtain his CMA and later his CPA. Most recently Director of Finance, Eastern Canada for Wesco Distribution. Chris was a longtime fan of the Michigan Wolverines and Toronto Blue Jays and was an avid golfer.

Cremation has taken place. Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph where the family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, June 16, from 1:00pm – 2:00pm. A Celebration of his life will follow in the Hart Chapel beginning at 2:00pm. All are welcome to live stream the Celebration on the internet via ZOOM. Link to follow below.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Juravinski Hospital, Mark Preece Family House, or The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Donations can be made by cash or cheque in person at the funeral home or online by following the links below.
