MacLennan, (Bill) Wm. Murray (1953 – 2022) –
Passed away, peacefully, in his sleep, on Friday, February 18th, 2022, at the Victoria Hospital- LHSC, London after a courageous struggle with illness. Wm. (Bill) Murray MacLennan, a resident of Tillsonburg, in his 69th year. (Former dedicated employee at Wedgies, Otter Valley, and Inovata Foods, in Tillsonburg).
Much loved son of ILA (nee Rooke) MacLennan, of Tillsonburg and the late Murray MacLennan (2005). Much loved husband of 35 years of Lavina Patricia (nee Taylor) MacLennan, of Tillsonburg. Loved brother of Sharon (Don Brinn), of Tillsonburg; Doug (Nancy) MacLennan, of Wallaceburg; Marilyn (Jim Mercer), of RR5 Langton; and Michael (Sandy) MacLennan, of Salford. Also survived by in-laws Albert (Pat) Taylor; Janet (John Kueppers), of Tillsonburg; Robert Taylor Jr., of Brantford; Donna (Rob Young), of Tillsonburg and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his sister-in-law Emma Louise Taylor.
A public graveside service will take place in the spring of 2022, at the MacLennan family plot in Delmer Cemetery, by Rev. Ted Smith of Courtland United Church. Memorial donations in Bill’s memory to the “Oxford County Animal Rescue” or to the “Canadian Cancer Society” would be gratefully acknowledged by the MacLennan family and can be made via Bill’s online tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com or by contacting the Maurice J.
